Meet Our Team

Dr. Janet Weiss felt drawn to her family pets ever since childhood. She wanted to know what made them behave the way they did, how their bodies worked, why they purred or barked… she’s felt an obligation to help care for animals for as long as she can remember! Dr.

Samantha grew up in Niles, Michigan with her parents, brother, sister, and a wide variety of family pets. She’s been caring for four-legged companions ever since she can remember; the hours she spent watching Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets only deepened her fascination!

When & how did you come to work at Maple City AH? I went to tech school, worked at 5 clinics, and then became a stay-at-home mom for a couple of years until I found my home in Maple City. Why did you become a veterinary professional?

Andrew has always had a soft spot for animals. Coupled with his background in customer service, working in an animal hospital simply makes good sense! Andrew serves as Maple City Animal Hospital’s Head Receptionist.

Christine was a client here at Maple City Animal Hospital before she was an employee. When an opportunity arose for her to use her background in medicine to better the lives of pets, she jumped at the chance!

When & how did you come to work at Maple City AH? Initially joined in August of 2021, but had to move. Moved back to the area and returned in April 2023. Found the job listed online.

Lakisha always had pets while growing up, and she’s felt a drive to help them stay happy and healthy ever since she was young.
